CANADA’S NATIONAL WOMEN’S TEAM TO PLAY THE UNITED STATES FOR GOLD AT THE 2009 HOCKEY CANADA CUP

VANCOUVER, B.C. – The rematch that everyone wanted has been set for Sunday at GM Place. Canada’s National Women’s Team defeated Sweden 7-2 on Saturday night at the Hockey Canada Cup to advance to Sunday’s gold medal game. Canada will face the United States, which earlier in the day defeated Finland 4-0. The gold medal final will be held at GM Place, starting at 7:30 p.m. PT
